About
Named for the sky’s most reliable pointer.
Great Bear is named for the constellation that finds true north. We build systems that do the same for strategy: hold the plausible futures in view, and identify the action that holds up best within the declared case.
Why we exist
Single forecasts hide the futures that hurt
Many costly failures begin as untested strategies — plans that met an adaptation, a tail, or a broken assumption nobody had priced. We think the fix is mechanical, not motivational: make the strategy a testable object, stress it before reality does, and evaluate the advice when valid comparative evidence arrives.

Luis Lozano
Luis Lozano is a physicist and AI researcher building Great Bear's strategy systems. He is extending that work through ongoing study of football tactics and match analysis while keeping the underlying engine domain-general.
How we work
Evidence first, in public
We build in public where the domain allows it, label every example with its provenance, and gate our own copy with mechanical claim guardrails. Recommendations end at a human decision: the engine stress-tests; people decide. Where we do not know something yet, we publish the honest sentence instead of the impressive one.
